Association of Mapping Seniors

Join us on December 5, 2009

as we celebrate our 35th Anniversary.

     The Association of Mapping Seniors (AMS) was formed in 1974 by a small group of Army Map Service employees.  AMS is a way of “Keeping in Touch and Having Fun”, while renewing, preserving, and establishing new friendships with the various administrative, production, technical, and support personnel, all of whom worked together in the production of geospatial-intelligence products for the Department of Defense.

     We now have over 780 members who have chosen to join together to share in the AMS mission, "Keeping in Touch and Having Fun”.  All current and past employees of NGA, its predecessor agencies, and Field Offices are invited to join us as a way to help preserve the many friendships that were developed over the years of pursuing our careers.

  The AMS Officers for 2009 are:

 President Conley Phipps; Vice President Paul Hayduk;

Secretary Robin Phipps and Treasurer Merle Biggin.

The Association of Mapping Seniors is sponsored in part by

our members and the Constellation Federal Credit Union.
