NGA History Awareness Day, March 10, 2010
The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) will be holding its first annual History Awareness Day on March 10, 2010, in Robideau Hall, at the Bethesda, Maryland location. The program will involve the reenactment of the planning and decision-making process of the Allies in the first-ever battlefield use of aerial imagery (from balloons and aircraft) in 1915. Copies of the actual imagery and maps available to the Allied commanders have been obtained from British archives. NGIAA members are invited to attend. 2010 Florida Luncheon

The luncheon menu will consist of a choice of London Broil or Chicken Cordon Bleu, served with the appropriate starch, vegetables, rolls and butter, dessert, coffee and tea.
The cost is $30 per person.
A welcome reception is being arranged at Island Point Residents Club, at
470 Sail Lane, in Merritt Island, the evening of March 11, at 6 PM.
RESERVATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED BY FEBRUARY 15, 2010.

Overnight Accommodations: A block of rooms has been reserved at the LA QUINTA INN (Melbourne/Viera) next to I-95 at Exit 191 in Viera. They offered the rate of $76 per night for AMS attendees.
This rate will be held for reservations made until February 20, 2010.
